Jin Guo is currently a Ph.D. candidate at Renmin University of China, major in energy economics and public policy. She is serving as a visiting scholar for the China Energy Group at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, from August 2015 to September 2016.
Jin’s research fields focus on energy economics and public policy — she is especially interested in two aspects. The first one is residential energy consumption since it is a potential increase point in developing countries, and the second aspect is energy consumption conservation, due to the increasing energy consumption in China. These two issues are very important to China’s low-carbon development strategies from the perspective of public policy.
