Lei Bao

Lei Bao is currently a Ph.D. candidate in Key Laboratory of Road and Traffic Engineering of the Ministry of Education, Tongji University. He serves as a visiting research scholar in the China Energy Group, Energy Technologies Area, at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory.

His recent research mainly focuses on sustainable transportation policies and their impact on the emissions, especially at the urban level. He has completed several low-carbon transport related research projects, such as Path Analysis and Countermeasures Study of Energy Conservation and Emission Reduction for Road Transportation Sector supported by the Ministry of Transport of China. Now he is working on his doctoral dissertation, which has two primary parts. First, it focuses on the driving factors of carbon reduction in the urban transport system, while the second part concentrates on low-carbon policies evaluation.
