Weina Zhu is a Visiting Scholar Affiliate for the China Energy Group, Energy Technologies Area, at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, as well as a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Construction Management, School of Civil Engineering, at Tsinghua University. She begun to work with the China Energy Group since October 2018. Her work focuses on environment impact assessment in the construction sector, and sustainability in the construction industry. In 2014, she was a research assistant in City University of Hong Kong on Green Building for half year.
We provide U.S. policymakers and the U.S. Department of Energy with the latest data, technology, policy and strategic insights related to energy use in China. A key goal is to develop a level, competitive playing field for U.S. products, technologies and companies in China through training, technology and testing standards and program implementation. We also help U.S. companies understand, identify and expand target markets in China.
Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory is an expert on energy use in China and a catalytic actor in providing data to U.S. policymakers about China, its energy use and opportunities for U.S. industry to do business in China.
