Hongyou Lu joined the China Energy Group in 2008 after receiving her M.A. in East Asian Studies from Stanford University. As a senior research associate, She focuses on industrial energy efficiency and international good practices. Past projects that she has been working on include designing industrial energy audit guidebook for program developers, providing technical assistance to cement plants through on-site assessments, and conducting data analysis and benchmarking at city- and enterprise-level. Hongyou began her work at the group by supporting senior members of the group to analyze and evaluate data of China’s energy supply, consumption, and fuel prices.
