Yun Fu was a visiting Professor from the China National Institute of Standardization (CNIS.) Professor Fu was with the China Energy Group in 2014. During his stay he worked to ensure the successful implementation of Asian Development Bank Technical Assistance project; Promoting energy-efficient products by strengthening the energy labeling scheme.

Yun Fu, Ph.D. who is an associate researcher, focus on standardization in the fields of resource recycling and low carbon. Publishing “The study on the standardization mode of circular economy development and standard system framework of circular economy”, and “Fairness measure of sustainable development”, involved in compiling more than 10 reports such as “2050 China's energy and carbon emissions report”, “China’s low-carbon eco-city development strategy”, and “China sustainable development strategy Report". Published about 50 papers in academic journals and developed more than 10 standards about resource recycling and others. Taking responsibility of or involving more than 10 projects related to resource recycling such as SDPC project "technical standards and tool for supporting cycling transformation of industrial parks ", The National Support of Science and Technology Project "technical standard system and integrated tool of circular economy”, National 973 project “the impact of the international standards about climate change on China and Countermeasures”, and The National Support of Science and Technology Project “The study on carbon emissions evaluation database construction and evaluation tool development for typical industry ". Participant in the work from greenhouse gas management sub Technical Committee Secretariat which is ISO/TC207/SC7. Obtaining the second prize of Science and Technology Promoting Inspection Award ,the nomination prize of China Soft Science Award, two prize of science and technology process of China Resources Comprehensive Utilization Association, and two prize in the national business technology progress.
